Steel silo supplier — agricultural, industrial, storage and environmental silos

Corrugated Galvanized Steel Silo | Bidragon Steel Silos

A corrugated galvanized steel silo from Bidragon, also called an assembled silo, is built panel by panel with bolts and steel plates. The product documentation states that all parts of any size can be boxed for transport, saving cost, and that the silo can store grain and plastic pellets and, when installed with PVC film or geomembrane, can also store water.

The documented structure covers the bottom (steel cone or concrete cone, ventilation system, sweep auger, frame), the body (high-quality galvanized steel plate, high-strength bolt connections, airtight tape sealing, corrugated galvanized plate, stiffening ribs, ladder, stiffening rings, inspection door) and the top (purlin load-bearing, natural ventilation hole cover plates in hot-dip galvanized steel plate, rainproof sealing, safety guardrail, manhole, air hole, ladder and walkway).

Applications

Corrugated galvanized steel silos serve grain, plastic pellet and, with a membrane lining, water storage. Although the documented diameter and capacity figures match those of the bolted silo, the two products differ in structure: this is a corrugated plate silo, while the bolted silo is a panel structure, and they are kept as separate pages.

How this product fits in a storage line

Industrial silos are normally planned around the material and the process, not around a generic capacity figure. Flow behaviour, dust, moisture, temperature and discharge reliability decide whether a given structure, bottom configuration and dust control arrangement will work, and the same nominal size can behave very differently with different materials. A buyer comparing industrial silos should therefore state the material, the handling rate and the downstream equipment in the inquiry, and should check which fittings, such as level sensors, dust collectors and discharge aids, are included in the proposal.

What to confirm in your inquiry

Because silo requirements depend on the material, the site and the handling system, the following items are confirmed per project before any quotation is issued. Sending these details with your inquiry helps the supplier respond with a workable proposal rather than a generic price.

Where a value is not listed on this page, it is not a standard figure for this product. It is a project-specific figure to be confirmed in writing during the inquiry process, and it should not be assumed from another product on this site.
